This resource is for those that are wanting to improve their vocabulary skills around Health and Safety. Often the words in policies and documentation are not clear and straightforward. This is a fun way to learn. Can be used as a lesson starter, or as a review at the end of the lesson (exit ticket). These flash cards can be used individually, with pairs, teams or groups of learners. Teams compete to find the correct word that is a best fit for the definitions. Ask them to write 1-12 or 1-4 on a piece of paper or device. If you have less time use the slides that contain 4 words only. Time learners and ask them to write their answers down for their pair, team or group. Once the time is up, click on each square to reveal the correct answer. (answers may differ and this provides an good opportunity for discussion – however to get a point, the team must have the word that is listed on the screen). This resource contains a pack of 16 cards that bring up issues of ethical dilemmas that can be faced at work. It also contains a set of blank cards. They can be used in the following ways: • Warm up activities / lesson starters • Part of a lesson on ethics, morals, values • End of lesson activity • Discussions • Games Instructions: 1.
